David O'Sullivan is a Lecturer and Research Director at the National University of Ireland, Galway. His area of expertise is business development and innovation management. Dr. O’Sullivan has worked as a consultant to Apple, IBM, Ingersoll-Rand, Fujisawa, Hewlett-Packard, Boston Scientific and other corporations. Dr. O’Sullivan has over 130 publications to his credit, including the books Applying Innovation, Manufacturing Systems Redesign and Reengineering the Enterprise. He has been honoured with the prestigious Outstanding Engineer of the Year and the European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence awards.
