How to Analyze Income Statements

The Eduson.tv mini-course will teach you to analyze profit and loss reports. You will learn how to compare different companies’ statements written in different reporting standards – International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Russian Financial Reporting Standards (RFRS) as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the US (GAAP). You will be able to better assess the changes in reporting lines (EBITDA, net margin, operating profit margin, etc). The mini-course “How to analyze profit and loss report” will teach you how to determine whether the profit or loss is caused by real changes in a company or by changes in its accounting policy.
